Acer American on Monday introduced a notebook line powered by AMD's Turion 64-bit processor, the CPU AMD introduced last week.
The new Acer Aspire 5000 and 5020 series notebooks said Acer, are aimed at small- and medium-sized busine sses, as well as small office-home office users. The 5000 sports a 15- or 15.4-inch display, while the 5020 boasts advanced multimedia features such as CD and DVD burners, S-Video out and FireWire connections, and a supporting chip set that lets users send video to compatible TV sets.
